Self-summary after discharge from the operating room

Self-summary of discharge from the operating room 1

The short four weeks in the operating room have ended. Looking back on this internship life, I feel deeply that every person here has The teachers taught us enthusiastically. Under the guidance of the head nurse and many teachers, I fully consolidated the knowledge I had learned before, and mastered many theoretically unavailable techniques and various operating room rules and regulations. I strictly abide by the surgical procedures. I have learned the aseptic operating principles required by the laboratory and memorized the standards of various commonly used surgical operating procedures. Through my own hands-on practice, I have learned a lot of practical surgical cooperation experience that is not found in textbooks, starting from the pre-operative visit to the patient to the day of surgery. From checking and psychological care of the patient to preparing for the operation, coordinating the delivery of the equipment during the operation, and the inventory work before the end of the operation, as well as the cleaning and packaging of the surgical equipment, every link is indispensable. The overlooked part, for me. Every part is a test and a rare and valuable experience.

Through the teacher’s teaching and these four weeks of careful practice, I have a better understanding of the facilities in the operating room and the steps of caesarean section. I also know that as a hand-washing nurse, I must strictly abide by the principles of aseptic operation? We also need to deliver surgical instruments quickly and accurately. I am particularly grateful to all the teachers for their guidance. I will keep in mind their excellent style of leading by example and cautious work attitude, and will continue to push myself, remind myself, and strive to improve my shortcomings. Maintain your own strengths and strive for greater progress at work. Self-summary of discharge from the operating room 2

Time seems to still stay on the day when I came to the operating room with uneasiness, tension, and expectation. In the blink of an eye, 3 weeks are about to pass. The internship is almost over. During these three weeks, through the careful teaching of the teachers, I learned the professional knowledge about circulating nurses and hand-washing nurses, mastered the preliminary operating skills in this area, and participated in the cooperation of caesarean section, thyroid and other surgeries. So far, I have become more proficient in hand washing for caesarean section. However, further practice and consolidation is needed for hand washing of the thyroid gland, which I hope can be completed in the remaining few days.

In my previous internship, I had never been to the operating room. As the first stop of internship, the operating room is completely unfamiliar to me. It is a new, unknown and mysterious world.

If you ask me what is the most profound impression on the operating room, it should be the strict concept of sterility. The teacher also emphasized the concept of sterility when I was in school, but often I knew it was one thing, but the actual practice was another. When I first entered the operating room, in the eyes of the teacher, I was probably like a bomb carrying contamination. I don’t know when I accidentally made another mistake and contaminated the sterile area. Gradually, with the teacher's advice, everyone's mutual influence, and the good atmosphere of the general environment, now, the concept of sterility is always in my mind, and I dare not forget it.

On the first day we entered the operating room, the teacher gave us a detailed introduction to the operating room environment and equipment. Subsequent studies, especially working as a traveling nurse, made me realize and understand The importance of environment and understanding of equipment - this is not just a simple visit, but more importantly, it allows us to become familiar with it in the shortest possible time and to quickly find the required items. The working experience of a circulating nurse made me realize the importance of this job. It seems simple, but in fact it is not. Just like the hand-washing nurse, it bears heavy responsibilities and pressure. It is necessary to have a solid theoretical foundation and a good understanding of the placement of environmental items. Only by understanding and understanding various instruments and their uses, understanding the instrument packages and supplies required for various surgeries, and preparing in advance can we complete the work better.

The first time I went on stage alone as a hand-washing nurse was during a cesarean section. To be honest, I was scared at the time and felt very unsure. Because I only washed one machine before when the teacher was watching me, I felt supported when the teacher was around, but when the teacher left, I felt a little panicked. But the teacher has left. In this case, I can only bite the bullet.

Starting from laying the table, to putting on sterile gowns and sterile gloves, arranging and preparing the instruments, and then thinking about the entire surgical process and cooperation over and over again in my mind, to starting the surgical procedures and arranging the postoperative instruments. When it was over, one thought came to my mind: I did it. With this starting point, the next step is to become proficient. Self-summary of discharge from the operating room Part 3

Operating room is a scary and mysterious term. A door in the operating room divides the inside and outside into two worlds. It is covered with a mysterious veil. Of all the departments, the operating room is the one I most yearn for, because the operating room is very mysterious to me. I came to the operating room for internship with curiosity.

I feel that I have gained a lot during my one-month internship in the operating room and gained a lot of knowledge, including nursing knowledge and interpersonal relationships.

Operating room nurses are divided into instrument nurses and circulating nurses. Instrument nurses are responsible for pre-operative preparations, delivering tools to doctors, and post-operative packaging. The circulating nurse is responsible for picking up and transporting patients, etc.

I go to work at eight o’clock every morning. I have to change my shoes, put on my hat and mask, and change my clothes in the operating room before entering the restricted area. This further strengthened my concept of sterility. I was honored to have two classes during my internship in the operating room. The minor surgery was to remove the tumor from the nasal cavity. I only helped with the retractor to better expose the surgical field, but I still felt in my heart that the opportunity was hard-won. From every small step, I deeply realized the importance of sterility during the surgery. The stringency of the requirements. I learned from brushing my hands to putting on surgical gown and sterile gloves. We strictly demand ourselves at every step to achieve sterility requirements. In the operating room, I also learned how to insert trocars, pack large bags, pack instruments, etc.

During the one-month internship, I saw many surgeries such as rectal cancer, laparoscopy, etc.

I feel that the internship time has passed very quickly. One month has passed like this. What I have learned cannot be described in words. I feel a lot of reluctance to leave the operating room. The mysterious veil outside the operating room has finally come to an end. It's been removed, and I hope I can go to the operating room in the future! Self-summary of discharge from the operating room Part 4

I originally thought that I would not like the work in the operating room, but after actually getting in touch with it, I completely denied my original view.

On the first day we entered the operating room, the teacher gave us a detailed introduction to the operating room environment and equipment, which made me realize the importance of understanding the environment and understanding the equipment - this is not a simple matter. The visit is more important for us to be familiar with and master it in the shortest time, and to quickly find the required items in the environment! At the same time, it also makes us realize that time is life, and we must race against time!

The first time I went on stage as a handwashing nurse, I was still nervous. However, with the patient guidance and encouragement of the teaching teacher, I quickly adjusted my mentality. From the beginning of the stage, From wearing sterile gowns and sterile gloves, to transferring instruments, to inserting blades and threading needles and threads, etc., during the work process, I better understood the meaning of "seeing a hundred times is worth practicing once"! The working experience of a circulating nurse made me realize the importance of this work. It seems simple, but in fact it is not. Only by having a solid theoretical foundation and rich clinical experience can we complete the work better. At the same time, like handwashing nurses, they bear heavy responsibilities and pressure.

My internship in the operating room strengthened my concept of asepsis and increased my awareness of aseptic principles. It gave me a deeper understanding of the work tasks of hand-washing nurses and circulating nurses, and made me understand the importance of mutual cooperation between work. Working in the operating room made me realize the preciousness and fragility of life, and made me more aware of the importance of nursing work. Self-summary of discharge from the operating room Part 5

Time flies really fast, and the internship in the operating room will be over in a blink of an eye, which also means that our internship life has also come to a successful end!

For this very special department, when I walked in for the first time, my mind went blank. Everything was so fresh and curious, everything was so exciting and scary. As soon as we entered the operating room, the head nurse strictly asked us to change our shoes, work clothes, and wear surgical caps and masks. My first reaction was that the concept of sterility in the operating room was very strong.

Afterwards, the head nurse took us to familiarize ourselves with the operating room environment and work procedures, and learned various rules and regulations. The teachers trained us in aseptic operation techniques, so that we could become familiar with the work procedures faster and better!

After one day of training, we started working with the teacher. At the beginning, the teacher took us along and taught us how to pick up and drop off patients, how to check medical records, how to print medical orders, how to get on the operating table, how to lay out sterile trays and dress clothes. Take off the isolation gown, how to cooperate with the doctor, etc. Then I started to go on stage alone. I remember that the first time I went on stage alone, I was a little nervous and a little hazy. After this time, I am not so nervous for future surgeries. I also developed antibodies to the bloody operating table.

During this month in the operating room, I also watched and participated in many operations, such as abdominal surgery, cesarean section, craniotomy, orthopedic thoracic surgery, emergency surgery, etc. During this process, I saw the close cooperation and teamwork spirit of the instrument nurses, circulating nurses, surgeons and anesthesiologists before, during and after the operation. This made me set a goal and work hard. I hope that one day I can become a member of the operating room and save patients' lives on the operating table!

I am really lucky to have come to the operating room, where I have learned a lot, strengthened my concept of asepsis, and made my aseptic technique more standardized.

Finally, thank you to all the teachers for caring and cultivating us. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to practice. I believe we will work harder in the future! Self-Summary of Surgery in the Operating Room 6

Self-summary of discharge from the operating room Part 8

The operating room is another new starting point for my internship and the understanding of new knowledge. In my impression, operating room is a term that makes people feel scary and mysterious. A door in the operating room divides the inside and outside into two worlds, covering it with a mysterious veil. All departments The department I most yearn for in college is the operating room. I came to the operating room with curiosity to study!

I feel that I gained a lot during my two-week internship in the operating room and gained a lot of knowledge, including nursing knowledge and interpersonal relationships. It not only improved my theoretical knowledge, but also strengthened my improve my operational ability.

The operating room is divided into instrument nurses and circulating nurses. The instrument nurse is responsible for preoperative preparation, delivering instruments to doctors, and cleaning and packaging instruments after surgery. The circulating nurse is responsible for picking up and transporting patients, delivering items under the operating table, writing nursing records, etc. Everyone divided the work and cooperated closely to successfully complete the operation! We go to work at eight o'clock every morning. We change into shoes, hats, masks, and surgical clothes before entering the restricted area and counting the expiration dates of the sterile bags, which further strengthens our concept of sterility.

During the internship in the operating room, although I couldn’t really go on stage and could only watch from the sidelines, it was very satisfying. We also understood the teacher’s reason for doing this, because every small step Strict operation is required and no mistakes can be made, which is related to the patient's life. Therefore, I deeply understand the strictness of the aseptic requirements in surgery. From dressing to wearing gloves, I strictly demand myself at every step to achieve true aseptic operation. In the operating room, I also watched many surgical examples, such as laparoscopy, splenic rupture, cholecystectomy, fracture reduction, etc.

At the same time, we also saw how the anesthesiologist performed spinal anesthesia and general anesthesia. The teacher also explained the precautions for us! These two weeks have been really informative!

Two weeks are over in the blink of an eye. It feels like it really went by too fast. What I learned from it cannot be described in words. I feel a lot of reluctance for the operating room and even more for the teachers. I will always remember your patient teachings and your bright and lovely smiling faces. Your teachings have benefited us a lot. I sincerely say thank you! Self-summary of discharge from the operating room Part 9

Time flies so fast, and the internship life in the operating room in just a few weeks is coming to an end. Looking back on the internship life during this period, I feel deeply.

During the internship in the operating room, through the help and guidance of teachers and my own practice, I mastered the rules and regulations of the operating room, strictly abided by the aseptic operating principles required in the operating room, and memorized all the procedures. Commonly used surgical procedure standards. Through my own hands-on practice, I learned a lot of practical surgical cooperation experience that is not found in textbooks.

First of all: Familiar with the special environmental requirements of the operating room and the use of operating room equipment. Deepened the understanding of various rules and regulations, understood the division of labor among operating room staff, and understood the work that should be completed according to the different division of labor. Learned how to cooperate with anesthesiologists and how to deal with accidents. Mastered various surgical positions, prepared the necessary items and the use of various instruments according to different operations

Secondly: further mastered the concept of asepsis and aseptic techniques, and learned various disinfection methods , Principles and principles of classification of sterile items. I practiced washing my hands many times, wearing sterile gowns and gloves, and passing sterile items on the operating table.

Understood the preparations before the operation, the cooperation of the surgical nurse and circulating nurse during the operation, and the filling in of the operation record sheet. Disinfection of postoperative instruments, dressings, and operating rooms. Understand how night shift nurses handle emergency surgeries. Learned and practiced tracheal intubation techniques.

Through this period of internship in the operating room, I am particularly grateful to all the teachers and seniors for their careful guidance. I will keep in mind their excellent style of leading by example and their cautious and rigorous work attitude. I will continue to push myself, remind myself, work hard to improve my shortcomings, maintain my strengths, and strive to achieve greater progress in future work.

I realized the following important points during my one-month internship in the operating room:

I would like to thank all the teachers for their care and careful teaching. I will continue to work hard in my future work and study, and strive to become a qualified medical worker. Self-Summary of the Operating Room 10

On the first day of entering the operating room, the teacher gave us a detailed introduction to the operating room environment and equipment, which made me realize the importance of understanding the environment and understanding the equipment. Important meaning - this is not a simple visit to understand, but more importantly, it allows us to be familiar with and master it in the shortest time, and to quickly find the required items in the environment! At the same time, it also makes us realize that time is life, and we must race against time!

The first time I went on stage as a handwashing nurse, I was still nervous. However, with the patient guidance and encouragement of the teaching teacher, I quickly adjusted my mentality. From the beginning of the stage, From wearing sterile gowns and sterile gloves, to transferring instruments, to inserting blades and threading needles and threads, etc., during the work process, I learned more about the meaning of "seeing a hundred times is worth practicing once"! The working experience of a circulating nurse made me realize the importance of this work. It seems simple, but in fact it is not. In order to complete the work better, I must have a solid theoretical foundation and rich clinical experience. At the same time, like the hand-washing nurse, I have the same responsibility. Huge responsibility and pressure.

My internship in the operating room strengthened my concept of asepsis and increased my awareness of aseptic principles. It gave me a deeper understanding of the work tasks of hand-washing nurses and circulating nurses, and made me more aware of the importance of cooperation between work. Working in the operating room made me realize the preciousness and fragility of life, and made me more aware of the importance of nursing work.

After this period of internship in the operating room, I am very grateful to all the senior teachers for their careful guidance. I will keep in mind their excellent style of leading by example and their cautious and rigorous work attitude. I will continue to push myself, remind myself, work hard to improve my shortcomings, adhere to my strengths, and strive to achieve greater progress in future work. Seeing that I will go to the hospital operating room for internship next week, I feel confused and excited about going to this strange place. What I was confused about was that although my previous internship in the clinical department was good, the operating room was different from the ward and had its own special characteristics. What I was excited about was that I could experience another kind of joy of labor, so I took advantage of today's night shift to ask the teacher I asked for some relevant information and previewed the next learning materials in advance:

1. First of all, you must understand the nursing routine in the operating room, distinguish the responsibilities of different nursing positions, and be familiar with surgical instruments, especially Special instruments in orthopedic surgery, putting on and taking off surgical gowns and various gloves, how to open sterile bags, unfold sterile drape, supply of sterile supplies, how to arrange and transfer instruments, correctly familiarize yourself with the instruments and how to use them, threading needles and threads , loading and unloading blades and transfer methods, familiar with common drainage tubes and their principles, and how to use original sutures correctly

5. Learn how to deal with common complications in surgery, and be able to cooperate with doctors and teachers in emergencies Rescue patients

6. Under the guidance of teachers, learn to fill in the surgical record sheet, the order and method of inventory of instruments, and the method of preserving pathological tissue

7. Memorize various surgeries 8. Strive to be able to independently clean, classify, pack, and disinfect operating room instruments

9. Finally become familiar with how to interact with the ward and what to pay attention to

During the internship, I must humbly learn from the teachers, conscientiously perform xx duties, work seriously, strive to complete the tasks assigned by the teacher, and successfully complete the internship tasks. Self-Summary of Surgery in the Operating Room 11

The four-week internship in the operating room is coming to an end. Looking back on this period of internship, I feel deeply.

The operating room was the first department where I came to our hospital for internship. In this department, I was taught by two teachers. They were very patient and taught me a lot.

During my internship in the operating room, through the help and guidance of teachers and my own practice, I mastered the rules and regulations of the operating room, strictly abided by the aseptic operating principles required in the operating room, and memorized all the procedures. Commonly used surgical procedure standards. Through my own hands-on practice, I learned a lot of practical surgical cooperation experience that is not found in textbooks.

Starting from the pre-operative visit to the patient, to the check-up on the day of the operation and the psychological care of the patient, to the various preparations for the operation, the transfer and coordination of the instruments, and all the various procedures before the end of the operation. Every aspect of the inventory, including the accompanying and observing the anesthetized patient before he wakes up, and the cleaning and maintenance of surgical instruments, is a part that cannot be ignored. For me, every part is a test and a rare and valuable experience.

Self-Summary of Surgery in the Operating Room Chapter 12

Four weeks passed in a blink of an eye. I stayed in operating room No. 6 for a month and underwent more than fifty orthopedic surgeries, large and small. I have a deep understanding of orthopedic surgery and have mastered various operations of orthopedic surgery. Under the guidance of Teacher Zhang, my concept of sterility has also been strengthened, and I have a deeper understanding of the role of the instrument nurse in surgery. I realize that the instrument nurse is not only a simple transfer of instruments, but also ensures the operation. The integrity and timely supply of instruments must also be closely coordinated with the operation to ensure the smooth progress of the operation.

Although I spent most of this month performing orthopedic surgeries and didn’t know much about other surgeries, I also performed several cesarean sections and general surgeries during the night shift, and observed several neurosurgery surgeries. I feel that the basic procedures of surgery are all the same, but some have some specialty features, which can only be learned later. This is my regret in the operating room, and I hope to come back to the operating room to learn again in the future.

I have never been exposed to an operating room before. Before coming here, I had no idea about the operating room. I only got some rough descriptions of the operating room from the teachers and classmates who had practiced in the operating room. I have always felt that the operating room is a very sacred place that is different from the ward. But after all, "seeing is worth hearing a hundred times." Only by experiencing it personally can we have a deeper understanding. After this month of real experience, the mystery of the operating room has been unveiled to me, and I have a deep understanding of life in the operating room. I think the life in the operating room can almost be described as "March of the Volunteers". It is fast-paced, irregular, long-lasting, busy, and one thing is that it makes people passionate, especially the moment they step on the stage. I go into the operating room at eight o'clock in the morning every day and walk out of the operating room at five or six o'clock in the afternoon or later. It usually takes a whole day of operations, one after another, with only ten minutes between operations. Meal or rest time. In the first few days, I always felt very tired, but I still persevered. I remember what Nurse Zhang said, "What is unreasonable is torture." At first, I didn't agree with this very much, especially during those days when I felt like I couldn't hold on any longer. I thought what was unreasonable was torture. , rather than training. However, this month has made me gradually understand its true meaning. For us young people, what we lack is experience, and the rapid acquisition of experience relies on such training. A hard work, a harvest, as long as we are willing to pay and accept the training, there will be a harvest. Another point, what I feel most profoundly in the operating room is that the operating room is a place where strength speaks for itself. This is very obvious whether on stage, off stage, or in daily work. It can be said that there are no weak people in the operating room. Therefore, if you want others to recognize you, you must fly as high as them, or even higher! It is this that always drives me forward. In short, the operating room is a very stressful place. Under the leadership of the head nurse, the teachers all performed their duties. The operating room was in an orderly state and created a good learning environment for us. Thank you very much!

Finally, it’s time to leave, and I feel so much reluctance to let go of the exciting environment there, the feeling of being on stage every time, and even more of every teacher who has guided me. , thank you, thank you for your hard teaching, allowing me to mature step by step. Finally, I would like to thank Nurse Zhang for always taking time out of her busy schedule to give lectures to our interns, teaching us how to do occupational protection and how to adjust ourselves during the internship. During this month, I can always feel that Nurse Zhang is standing behind me and watching me silently. She always helps me and enlightens me when I am most frustrated and helpless, and makes me understand many things. , to me, she is a good teacher and a helpful friend! How wonderful it is to have such an experience in my life. No matter where I go in the future, I firmly believe that this internship life in the operating room will be something I will never forget! Self-Summary of Surgery in the Operating Room Chapter 13

I am a student who is about to graduate from a medical school. Of course, I cannot miss a good internship opportunity for me who is about to graduate. According to the school arrangement, I went to a Internship in the operating room of the city's specialized hospital.

I remember that when I was an intern in the operating room, I was both scared and excited about this unfamiliar environment. Fortunately, the instructor took good care of me and provided me with proactive guidance in all aspects, so that I quickly became familiar with the rules and regulations of the operating room, and was able to strictly abide by the aseptic operating rules of the operating room, and take familiar notes. Observe the operating procedure standards for various commonly used surgeries. After this personal experience and hands-on practice, I learned a lot of practical experience that is not available in books.

During my internship in the operating room, my job was to communicate with the patients before the operation started to relieve their tension, check the patient’s information on the day of the operation to avoid errors, and provide psychological care for the patients before arriving. During the operation, various preoperative preparations should be done, the coordination of delivery equipment, various inventory and cleaning after the operation, and the accompanying and observation of the anesthetized patient before he wakes up, etc. Every link is very important and cannot be ignored. . For me, I learned a lot of valuable experience and became familiar with a set of basic surgical procedures, which consolidated my theoretical knowledge and improved my practical ability.

During the internship in the operating room, I would like to thank my instructors for their careful teachings to me, and remember their good work attitude of setting an example, constantly reminding myself, spurring myself, and working hard to change my shortcomings. Carry forward your own strengths and strive for greater improvement and greater improvement in your future work and life. When practicing in the operating room, the first thing you need to understand is the nursing routine and be familiar with the work information of hand brush nurses and circulating nurses. You also need to understand the hand brushing procedures in the operating room, learn how to deal with common intraoperative complications, and be able to deal with them in emergencies. Under the guidance of the instructor, memorize the filling in the surgical record sheet, the order of inventory of instruments, etc. Asepsis is a basic operation in the operating room. It should be combined with theoretical knowledge to further familiarize and apply aseptic technology in actual operations. Strive to be able to personally participate in surgeries under the guidance of instructors, and be familiar with the following information: understanding surgical instruments, common drainage tubes and their principles, and how to correctly use original sutures. Especially the special instruments used in orthopedic surgery, putting on and taking off surgical gowns and various gloves, opening sterile bags, laying sterile drape, supply of sterile supplies, how to arrange and transfer instruments, and correctly understand the instruments and their use. Methods, needle threading, blade loading and unloading and transfer methods, etc.

In short, I grew a lot during my internship in the operating room, learned a lot, and benefited a lot, which provided me with a lot of help in my future work and study. It was an internship experience that I will never forget.
