According to the Patent Law, if no reason for rejection of an invention patent application is found after substantive examination, the State Intellectual Property Office will make a decision to grant the invention patent right, issue an invention patent certificate, and register and announce the invention patent at the same time. The right shall take effect from the date of announcement; if no reason for rejection is found after preliminary examination of the utility model or design patent application, the State Intellectual Property Office shall make a decision to grant the utility model patent right or the design patent right and issue the corresponding patent certificate. It will be registered and announced at the same time, and the utility model patent right and the design patent right will take effect from the date of announcement.
