1. TFT
TFT (thin film transistor) is the abbreviation of thin film transistor. TFT display screen is the mainstream display device on all kinds of notebook computers and desktops. Each LCD pixel on this kind of display screen is driven by a thin film transistor integrated behind the pixel, so TFT display screen is also an active matrix LCD device. It is one of the best LCD color displays. TFT display has the advantages of high responsiveness, high brightness and high contrast, and its display effect is close to that of CRT display.
2. LCD
The structure of LCD is that a liquid crystal box is placed between two parallel glass substrates, a TFT (thin film transistor) is arranged on the lower substrate glass, and a color filter is arranged on the upper substrate glass. The rotation direction of liquid crystal molecules is controlled by the signal and voltage change on the TFT, so as to control whether the polarized light of each pixel is emitted or not to achieve the display purpose.
Now LCD has replaced CRT as the mainstream, and its price has dropped a lot, and it has been fully popularized.
3.OLED
Organic light-emitting diode (OLED) is also called organic laser display and organic light-emitting semiconductor. It was discovered by Chinese-American professor Ching W. Tang in the laboratory in 1979. OLED display technology has the advantages of self-luminescence, wide viewing angle, almost infinite contrast, low power consumption, extremely high response speed and so on. However, as a high-end display screen, the price will be more expensive than LCD TV.
4.LPTS
LPTS refers to the low-temperature polysilicon screen, which is clear and bright. Expanding data
development of display technology
OLED display technology is different from the traditional LCD display mode, which does not need backlight, and adopts very thin organic material coating and glass substrate. When current passes through, these organic materials will emit light. Moreover, the OLED display screen can be made lighter and thinner, with a larger viewing angle, and can significantly save electricity.
at present, among the two major OLED technology systems, the low-molecular OLED technology is mastered by Japan, while the so-called OEL of the polymer PLEDLG mobile phone is this system, and the technology and patents are mastered by the British technology company CDT. Compared with them, it is still difficult to colorize PLED products. Low-molecular OLEDs are easier to be colored. Not long ago, Samsung released 65,53 color OLEDs for mobile phones.
