First, the content introduction
This project uses diatomite as modifier and asphalt as base material to develop the preparation technology of diatomite-asphalt composite pavement material, including the front surface treatment technology and formula of diatomite and the composite technology and formula of diatomite and matrix asphalt.
The main indexes of the diatomite-asphalt composite pavement material are as follows: penetration index =-0.26 ~- 1.0, elastic range greater than 60℃, penetration ratio before and after film oven greater than 70%; Ductility (15℃) 50 ~ 100 cm; The softening point is greater than 50℃; Anti-aging performance: permeability ≥80%.
The main technical characteristics and innovations of this achievement are: diatomite is added to asphalt after pretreatment. The prepared diatomite modified asphalt can not only improve the dispersibility of diatomite in asphalt matrix, significantly improve the aging resistance of asphalt, but also make it better combined with aggregate and reduce the occurrence of segregation.
Second, popularization and application
Using engineering technology to produce diatomite-asphalt composite pavement material has good economic benefits. Diatomite is mainly composed of amorphous silicon dioxide, which has the characteristics of good chemical stability and porosity, and can significantly improve the temperature stability, pavement strength, sound absorption and vibration reduction performance of pavement. Compared with other modified asphalt materials at present, diatomite has the characteristics of rich resources, easy processing, low production cost and low environmental load in the production process, which is suitable for China's national conditions Therefore, the development of modern highway pavement materials has great social benefits. Diatomite/asphalt composite pavement materials will have a broad market space.
At present, it has not been popularized.
