Gas enters in the horizontal direction, and the baffles are arranged vertically. The demister has a good liquid collection and drainage structure; the amount of liquid re-entrainment is small, and droplets larger than 5-5 in heavy rain can be removed easily. The efficiency is greater than 95%; the operation flexibility is large, usually up to 60-120%, sometimes even up to 40-140%.
The high-efficiency baffle mist catcher is especially suitable for tower top or side gas phase outlets to remove mist droplets, liquid foam and trace solid particles entrained in the gas phase.
