Will strontium ferrite rust?

Strontium ferrite is an important permanent magnet material, but it is difficult to prepare slurry with high solid content and low viscosity with strontium ferrite powder. In this experiment, strontium ferrite powder was pre-reduced to prepare slurry suitable for gel injection molding, and gel injection molding was carried out inside and outside the magnetic field. The influence of reduction process on the composition of strontium ferrite was analyzed, and the rheological properties of pre-reduced strontium ferrite slurry and the influence of magnetic field gel casting on the material properties were studied. The results show that the pre-reduced strontium ferrite low viscosity slurry with solid volume fraction of 46vol%% can be prepared by pre-reduction treatment. Magnetic field gel injection molding of pre-reduced strontium ferrite slurry can not make the grains of strontium ferrite materials uniformly oriented.
