Who invented bubble gum?
As a kind of candy, bubble gum first met with consumers in the United States in 1906. The patent for the chemical formula of bubble gum was registered at 1928 by a company named "Dubble Bubble" in Philadelphia, USA. The inventor is Gilbert B. Mustin Sr. Since 1960, this company has always insisted that the actual inventor is Walter Diemer. Walter Daimer, an accountant in Philadelphia, USA, invented bubble gum 75 years ago, when he called it Dubble Bubble. It was not until 1937 that the first batch of bubble gum products came out. Over the years, bubble gum products have been constantly innovating, but the name has not changed, or Dubble Bubble. Bubble gum is made from natural rubber or glycerol resin-based edible plastic as colloid, sugar, starch syrup, mint or Brandt essence, and then mixed and pressed. Bubble gum is not only delicious, but also can blow bubbles to play, which is very popular with children.
