Yangbi Walnut Industry includes planting, processing and sales of Yangbi Walnut. Article 3 Units and individuals engaged in planting, processing, selling, scientific research and management of Yangbi walnuts in Autonomous County shall abide by these regulations. Article 4 The development of Yangbi walnut industry should follow the principles of protecting germplasm, optimizing varieties, rational planning and scientific management, and promote the scale, standardization and brand development of Yangbi walnut industry. Article 5 The Autonomous County People's Government shall incorporate the development of Yangbi walnut industry into the national economic and social development plan, and arrange budget funds every year to be earmarked for the development of Yangbi walnut industry. Article 6 Autonomous County People's Government shall formulate preferential policies to encourage units and individuals to invest in planting Yangbi walnuts, develop foods, medicines, health care products and handicrafts with Yangbi walnuts as raw materials, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of investors. Seventh Autonomous County People's government encourages and guides financial institutions to support the development of Yangbi walnut industry. Article 8 Autonomous County People's Government shall strengthen the publicity of Yangbi Walnut, encourage units and individuals to carry out historical and cultural excavation, literary creation and tourism activities of Yangbi Walnut, and enhance the brand awareness of Yangbi Walnut.
The annual "White Deer" Festival is Dali Yangbi Walnut Festival. Article 9 Autonomous County People's Government shall commend and reward the units and individuals that have made remarkable achievements in protecting Yangbi walnut brand and developing Yangbi walnut industry. Chapter II Protection and Management Article 10 The People's Government of Autonomous County shall set up the Yangbi Walnut Industry Development Management Organization, whose main responsibilities are:
(a) to publicize and implement the relevant laws, regulations and these regulations;
(two) to compile and organize the implementation of Yangbi walnut industry development plan;
(three) training professional and technical personnel of Yangbi walnut industry and issuing corresponding qualification certificates;
(four) to apply for the use of geographical indications and certification trademarks of Yangbi walnut;

Article 11 The development and reform, finance, forestry, environmental protection, industry and commerce, quality and technical supervision, public security and other departments of the Autonomous County People's Government shall, according to their respective functions and duties, do a good job in the management and service of the development of Yangbi walnut industry. Twelfth Yangbi Walnut seedling cultivation, planting, fruit and nut processing, the implementation of Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture "Yangbi Walnut Comprehensive Standard". Chapter III Production and Operation Article 21 Autonomous County People's Government encourages units and individuals to develop Yangbi walnut industry through leasing, contracting and other circulation methods. Article 22 Autonomous County People's Government shall strengthen cooperation with scientific research departments, colleges and universities, introduce capital, technology and talents, increase research and popularization of new technologies such as improved variety selection, seedling breeding, planting and cultivation, pest control, etc. of Yangbi walnut, and cultivate high-yield and high-quality Yangbi walnut. Twenty-third Autonomous County People's Government encourages units and individuals to scientifically plant and process Yangbi walnuts to ensure the characteristic quality of Yangbi walnuts. Article 24 Autonomous County People's Government shall strengthen the construction of infrastructure such as Yangbi walnut planting area and marketing market, improve the environment and promote the development of Yangbi walnut industry. Twenty-fifth Autonomous County People's government to implement Yangbi walnut geographical indications and certification trademarks and other brand identification dedicated and paid use system. Twenty-sixth units and individuals that use Yangbi walnut brand logo to operate walnut seedlings, fruits and kernels. It should meet the comprehensive standard of walnut soaking in Yangbi, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, and adulteration is strictly prohibited.
