China citizens who support the Constitution of People's Republic of China (PRC) and meet the following conditions may sign up for the national patent agent qualification examination:
1. 1.8 years old, with full capacity for civil conduct;
2. University degree in science and engineering or equivalent;
3. Familiar with patent law and related legal knowledge;
4. Engaged in scientific and technical work or legal work for more than two years.
Graduation of science and engineering majors in colleges and universities refers to obtaining a college degree or above recognized by the state and obtaining a diploma.
The key is to see which major your master of engineering is. The scope of science and engineering majors allowed to apply for the exam refers to the 07- 10 category in the Catalogue of Undergraduate Majors in Colleges and Universities compiled by the Ministry of Education.
