The exposed MatePad T is a design patent that Huawei applied to China National Intellectual Property Administration on 20/KOOC-0/9, which was released to the public on April/KOOC-0/4, 2020.
It is expected that Huawei MatePad T will be made into a simplified version of MatePad Pro, and the price will be lowered on the premise of losing some functions. Unlike MatePad Pro's 10.8-inch body, MatePad T will use an 8-inch screen, so some people call it MatePad 8-inch version.
Unlike MatePad Pro's four-speaker design, MatePad T has two speakers, which are located at the top and the bottom, the charging type-c port is at the bottom, and the power button, volume button and SIM card slot are located at the left and right sides as usual.
