China pond farming machinery was first popularized in Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Liaoning and Beijing.
Secondly, in the early 1960s, after the "dispute over raising and catching", the fishery industry in China established the fishery development strategy of China. From "catching" to "raising", and "raising" is mainly in inland ponds. Pond culture, which has a history of 3,200 years in China, is known as "the ancient far east fish culture law", and it is completely operated by manpower. It belongs to an ancient culture, and its technology is quite backward, which makes the world have different opinions on it. Before the 1960s, pond farming machinery in China was completely blank, which was the forgotten corner of agricultural mechanization in China. Under the guidance of Chairman Mao's "the fundamental way out of agriculture lies in mechanization", the research topic of pond farming mechanization in China was included in the first 10 scientific research and development plan approved by Chairman Mao himself. At the same time, the institute was established in 1963, and was established as the key scientific research project of the institute.
