Wuyi University is a multi-disciplinary university established by the People's Government of Guangdong Province in 1985, focusing on engineering. It is the first local university in Guangdong Province to obtain the right to award master's and bachelor's degrees. It has the ability to accept students from Hong Kong and Macao. Qualifications for Taiwanese overseas students and international students and recommended outstanding fresh undergraduate graduates are exempted from taking the exam to study for postgraduate qualifications.
