Besides applying in a single country, what other ways can an applicant apply for an international patent?

1, Paris convention mode: according to the priority stipulated in the Paris convention, using the priority of filing a patent application in one country, directly submit a patent application (appearance patent application) to other Paris convention member countries within 6 months/12 months (invention and utility model patent application).

2.PCT channel: the applicant directly submits the PCT international application to the International Bureau within 12 months from the priority date. After the international application is confirmed, one or more PCT member countries that the PCT application wishes to enter may be designated within 30 months from the priority date. Among them, the international application has the effect of formal national application in all PCT member countries.

3.EPC way: Patent applicants have two ways to seek patent protection in Europe. Submit an application to the European National Patent Office or apply for a European patent through the European Patent Office (EPO). The European Patent Office grants patents on behalf of the member countries of the European Patent Committee.
