Can a national invention patent be settled in Chengdu?

No, patents are not a condition for settling in Chengdu, but personal income. Chengdu hukou conditions:

1. People from outside Chengdu who purchase commercial housing (including second-hand houses) with an area of over 70 square meters can apply for permanent residence for themselves, their spouses and minor children, but the per capita housing construction area of the place where they move in is not lower than that of urban families in our city last year.

2. People from outside Chengdu who purchase commercial, industrial or other non-residential houses at one time can apply for permanent residence for themselves, their spouses and minor children at their legally fixed residence.

3. If you participate in the joint construction of disaster-damaged rural houses in Chengdu or obtain more than 50 mu of farmland in Chengdu and the circulation period is more than 3 years, you can apply for permanent residence for yourself, your spouse and minor children in your legal fixed residence.

4. People from outside the city who are engaged in self-employment and start private enterprises in Chengdu can apply for permanent residence for themselves, their spouses and minor children at their legally fixed residence after paying taxes in Chengdu tax department for two years.

5. Those who have lived in Chengdu for 2 years and paid the basic old-age insurance premium for urban employees in Chengdu for 2 years in the name of employees of the employer or in the name of individuals may apply for permanent residence for themselves, their spouses and minor children at their legally fixed residence.

According to Article 13 of the Administrative Measures for Household Registration Service in Chengdu (Trial) (Cheng Gong Fa [20 17] 190), household registration is based on households, and the permanent population living in the same house is one household. A set of housing can only be registered for one household, seventeenth:

(a) the household registration book and identity card of family members.
