These methods are formulated in order to fully implement the Party's educational policy, cultivate high-level professionals with ideals, morality, culture and discipline, promote the healthy development of outstanding talents, and encourage graduate students to study hard and actively innovate.
I. recipients
all graduate students registered in our school (non-directional, directional, commissioned and self-raised) can apply for corresponding scholarships according to the provisions of these measures.
Grade, amount and proportion of scholarships
There are three grades of scholarships in our school: first-class scholarship 1 yuan/academic year, second-class scholarship 8 yuan/academic year and third-class scholarship 5 yuan/academic year.
The proportion of the first, second and third-class scholarships is 2%, 6% and 12% of the total number of graduate students.
Third, the conditions for awarding prizes
1. Adhere to the four cardinal principles of the Party and conscientiously study Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory; Concerned about major events at home and abroad, determined to serve the people and socialist construction; Dedication; Abide by the law and discipline, and abide by the school rules and regulations; Good moral character, respect teachers, care about the collective and unite students.
2. Excellent academic performance, with an average score of more than 8 points in each compulsory course in each academic year. Only those who fail to make-up exams can participate in the awards (those who fail CET-6 cannot participate in the selection of first-class and second-class scholarships).
First-class scholarship: you should also have strong scientific research ability, have some original ideas in the research of this discipline and have achieved certain results. (1) published 2 papers by the first author (excluding anthology and supplement); (2) originality, major discovery or important technological innovation, which has produced great economic benefits or won a technical patent; (3) those who participated in academic competitions at or above the provincial level and won grade awards. One of the above three items is enough.
IV. Awards Procedure
1. Propose a list of candidates by combining self-recommendation of graduate students with recommendation of tutors and seminars, and provide necessary materials (such as papers, copies of award-winning certificates, passing certificates, etc. If the content filled in is inconsistent with the submitted materials, its qualification for participation will be cancelled).
2. A preliminary examination team is formed by the unit where the master's degree program is located to review the applicants of this unit, put forward preliminary examination opinions, report them to the Graduate Department for summary, and publish them after being examined and approved by relevant personnel organized by the Graduate Department.
3. time schedule: the selection will be made in November every year, and the preliminary evaluation will be made in mid-November, and it will be approved and announced by the graduate school in late November.
4. Method for producing award grades: All units will evaluate the second and third grades according to the application materials of students, actual performance and tutor's opinions, and report them to the Graduate Office. The school will evaluate the first prize according to the materials submitted by all units after comprehensive investigation.
The selection must adhere to the principles of fairness, impartiality and openness, and seriously compete fairly according to the procedures.
5. The selected candidates are announced on the posting, and finally selected after a three-day dispute period. Hold a commendation meeting, award honorary certificates and scholarships, and inform the whole school of commendation. The award-winning materials will be loaded into the student files.
5. In any of the following circumstances, you may not participate in this year's awards.
1. Those who violate national laws and regulations, school discipline and relevant regulations, and are given a warning or above.
2. Those who fail in one or more compulsory courses.
3. Those who have been absent from school for more than four weeks in one semester due to illness (including four weeks).
4. those who have not completed the payment procedures at the financial department.
