Carrot Run is owned by Baidu.
Luobo Kuaipao is Baidu’s unmanned vehicle travel service platform, which was released on August 18, 2021. As of the first half of 2021, Luobo Kuaipao has received more than 400,000 passengers, has a test mileage of more than 14 million kilometers, and has more than 2,900 autonomous driving patents. It has opened manned services in four cities: Beijing, Guangzhou, Changsha, and Cangzhou.
In April 2022, Beijing issued a notice for unmanned manned demonstration applications, and Baidu became the first approved company. Its platform Luobo Kuaipao officially launched unmanned autonomous driving travel services. On May 10, 2022, Baidu’s self-driving travel service platform “Luobo Kuaipao” officially launched in Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone, providing self-driving travel services to citizens.
Urban Expansion
On April 19, 2020, the Carrot Run Changsha area was opened for experience, giving the popular landscape a new technological hotspot and connecting multiple operating areas through expressways for the first time; On August 21, Luobo Kuaipao opened the country’s first self-driving cultural and tourism line and the country’s first high-speed rail station self-driving connection service in Cangzhou.
On October 10, Luobo Kuaipao became the first self-driving car travel service brand in the capital to open to the outside world. Baidu and Shouqi Ride-hailing launched the self-driving service on the Beijing online car-hailing platform. On May 2, 2021, Carrot Run launched regular commercial operations for the public for the first time, and took on the task of connecting athletes in the Shougang Park and staff of the Winter Olympics Organizing Committee during the Beijing Winter Olympics.
