Three famous laboratories in China

1, Beijing National Laboratory of Electron Positron Collider

Beijing Electron Positron Collider National Laboratory (BEPC) is located in Yuquan Road, the western suburb of Beijing, and was built in Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Development results:

1. The laboratory published 58 papers in various journals, including 4 international first-class journals and 44 domestic journals.

2. There are more than ten papers on physical achievements and dozens of articles on experimental technology to be published.

3. 1992, "BES data?" The improvement of acquisition and processing system won the "Wu Experimental Science and Technology Award" issued by the Chinese Physical Society.

2. Lanzhou National Laboratory of Heavy Ion Accelerator

Lanzhou Heavy Ion Accelerator National Laboratory is the national laboratory responsible for the construction and development of China Academy of Sciences.

Development results:

Since the establishment of 10, HIRFL has been running well. In particular, the input of high-charge ECR ion source has significantly improved the operation level of HIRFL. By 1998, the laboratory has provided more than 50 beams with different energies for more than 200 experiments in more than 40 universities and scientific research units in China.

Most of these experiments are major and key research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, the 863 Program and the Climbing Program, covering the basic research and applied research of heavy ion physics.

3. National Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory

The National Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory, located in the west campus of China University of Science and Technology in Hefei, Anhui Province, is the first national laboratory approved by the State Planning Commission. The synchrotron radiation light source owned by the laboratory is the only large-scale scientific device and national experimental research platform in domestic universities.

Development results:

"Hefei synchrotron radiation accelerator, beam line and experimental station won the 1992 special prize for scientific and technological progress of China Academy of Sciences and the 1995 first prize for national scientific and technological progress. Since its opening, the National Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory has received a large number of domestic and foreign users, with more than 100 registered users.

More than 200 projects have been approved and a number of important research results have been achieved. He has approved 3 patents, applied for 7 patents, and published more than 300 papers in important journals at home and abroad and international and domestic academic conferences.
