How to desize rayon woven fabric

Desizing methods of common woven fabrics.

1. Cotton woven fabric: The commonly used desizing methods mainly include enzyme desizing, alkali desizing, oxidant desizing and acid desizing.

2. Elastic woven fabric containing spandex: The physical and chemical properties of spandex should be considered during pretreatment to minimize the damage to spandex and keep the shape of elastic fabric relatively stable. The desizing method generally adopts enzyme desizing (open width relaxation treatment).

3. Tencel fabric: Tencel itself has no impurities. Starch or modified starch can be used in the weaving process, and enzyme or alkali-oxygen one-bath desizing can be used.

4. Soybean protein fiber fabric: amylase desizing.

5. Polyester woven fabric (desizing and scouring): Polyester itself contains no impurities, but there is a small amount of oligomer (about 3% or less) in the synthesis process, so there is no need for strong pretreatment like cotton fiber. Generally speaking, desizing and scouring are carried out in one bath, with the purpose of removing oil added during fiber weaving, pulp added during weaving, colored dyes, travel notes and dust polluted during transportation and storage.

6. Polyester-cotton blended interwoven fabric: The sizing of polyester-cotton woven fabric mostly adopts PVA, starch and CMC mixed size, and the desizing method generally adopts hot alkali desizing or oxidant desizing.

7. Viscose woven fabric: Desizing is the key point of pretreatment of viscose fabric, and viscose grey fabric is generally sized, so BF7658 amylase is used for desizing, and the desizing process is the same as that of cotton fabric.
