In 2003, Dong Zhiyang and He Yongzhi from the State Key Laboratory of Biological Resources, Institute of Microbiology, China Academy of Sciences began to study the project of "High Temperature Resistant SOD Enzyme". Supported by the "863" major project of the Ministry of Science and Technology, in 2008, Dong Zhiyang and He Yongzhi of the State Key Laboratory of Biological Resources of the Institute of Microbiology of China Academy of Sciences obtained the invention patent of "heat-resistant SOD enzyme" after several years of hard research.
