Who invented Morse code?

Morse code was invented by American inventor Samuel Morse and his assistant Alfred Weil in 1836. Morse code, or Morse code, is an on-off signal code, which represents different English letters, numbers and punctuation marks through different arrangement orders.

Morse code is an early form of digital communication, but it is different from modern binary codes that only use 0 and 1. Its code includes five types:
