At present, the widely used technology is still the traditional five-step method, which mainly consists of five stages: blowing, upper gas production, lower gas production, secondary upper gas production and blowing. Because there are many pipelines, the realization of each stage is controlled by valves, and the frequent switching of valves takes up a lot of time, which leads to the decrease of gas production intensity. Gas production is mainly carried out in the rising gas production stage, and after the gas production reaches the maximum, it decreases rapidly with the decrease of bed temperature. Most of the time, the gas production in the downward gas production stage is lower than the average. The main purpose of secondary upward gas production is to consider safety, and the gas blowing stage is mainly to recover the gas in the upper space and pipeline of the gas stove. Therefore, the gas production intensity is not high, the efficiency is low and the technology is backward in the whole cycle process.
Multi-stage circulation is difficult to achieve high-efficiency short-period gas production, with long duration of gas production stage, large heat absorption, low average temperature and low steam decomposition rate in the whole circulation process; At the same time, due to the multi-step alternation of the whole cycle, the effective gas production time is short and the heat loss is large; The design of anti-wall jacket boiler increases the heat loss, so the energy consumption and coal consumption are high.
At present, small and medium-sized nitrogenous fertilizer plants in China mainly use fixed bed compressed gas. However, due to the national requirements for environmental protection and the establishment of a conservation-oriented society, the approval of fixed-bed gas production is more difficult. The two-step process adopts various measures to cool and purify the gas: firstly, the heat exchanger is used for cooling and coarse dust removal, and then the gas cabinet, gas scrubber, desulfurization tower and packing tower are used for washing, desulfurization and naphthalene removal, so that the cleanliness of the gas can fully meet the needs of continuous production and meet the requirements of environmental protection.
