Standard for Patent Information Statistical Data Items (Part 1) 1 Scope

This standard specifies the statistical data items for patent information published by the State Intellectual Property Office.

This standard is applicable to statisticians of the State Intellectual Property Office and users of patent information statistics. 2 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.

2.1 Statistical data items

Also known as "statistical indicators". It refers to the numbers in statistics that comprehensively reflect a large number of social phenomena, and consists of the name of the indicator and its numerical value. This standard specifically refers to statistical indicators of patent information.

2.2 Statistical data item name

Refers to the special name used to identify a certain patent information statistical data item.
