Xiamen Institute of Technology is a private full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education, and the third batch of 1+X certificate system pilot colleges in Fujian Province. The school was formerly an independent college founded in 2009-Xiamen Institute of Technology of Huaqiao University; On April 20 15, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, it was transformed into an independent private undergraduate college and renamed Xiamen Institute of Technology.
