The shortage of market makes the employment situation of intellectual property talents bullish all the way. According to Professor Zheng, there has been a great demand for graduates majoring in intellectual property in Peking University, and the big employers are big enterprises. Recently, the appetite of high-tech enterprises is also growing. China National Intellectual Property Administration Patent Office requires Patent examiners to have a degree in science and engineering, and receive training in relevant intellectual property laws and regulations after employment, so as to meet the post requirements of examiners. As for the reasons why students with science and engineering backgrounds prefer, Professor Zheng analyzed that although most of the courses of intellectual property learning are related to law, because the intellectual property field is more exposed to some high-tech, high-tech projects, etc., the foundation of science and engineering is better and more convenient, so that we can better understand this technology or product and do related intellectual property work. Dean Tao of the School of Intellectual Property of Shanghai University also pointed out that the most critical issue in the cultivation of intellectual property talents is the level of students' scientific and technological knowledge, because the requirements of the industry are relatively high, and it is difficult to make up from the day after tomorrow. At the same time, science and engineering students need to make up for the lack of communication and expression skills.
