Hengyang Teachers College, located in Hengyang City, Hunan Province, is a public full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education of Hunan Province. The history of running a school began with the Hunan Guanli South Road Normal School founded by 1904. 1March, 1999, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Hengyang Teachers College and Hengyang Education College merged to form Hengyang Teachers College. In February, 200 1 year, the Third Normal School of Hunan Province merged. In 2006, the school completed the undergraduate teaching level evaluation of the Ministry of Education with excellent results. On May 20 18, the State Council Academic Degrees Committee approved the school as a master's degree awarding unit.
