Nanjing University of Science and Technology, referred to as "South Institute of Technology", is located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. It is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China and jointly established by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Jiangsu Province. It is a national "double-class" construction university.

School history
The school was founded in 1953 by the Military Engineering College of China People's Liberation Army. After the development stages of Artillery Engineering College, East China Engineering College and East China Engineering College, it was renamed Nanjing University of Science and Technology on 1993.
As of April 2023, the school has Nanjing Campus, Jiangyin Campus and Xuyi Campus (to be built), of which Nanjing Campus covers an area of 3,200 mu and Jiangyin Campus covers an area of 1 15 mu; 2 1 professional college, 2 independent colleges and 72 undergraduate majors; There are more than 3,500 faculty members, more than 30,000 full-time students and more than 0,000 international students.
