It has formed a trinity training system of full-time education, correspondence education and on-the-job training, and a new pattern of running schools with postgraduate education as the leader, undergraduate education and post-job education as the main body, and correspondence education as the supplement. The college has become a talent training base and scientific research and academic research center of the Armed Police Force.

The College has established a discipline group focusing on the research of command automation, mobile communication and non-lethal weapons and equipment of armed police, and integrating computer application, operational command, military communication, military equipment, cryptography, national defense economy, communication and information system. The College took the lead in conducting military linguistics research in the whole army, and enrolled graduate students in 2007, which filled the blank of military language research in the whole army.
