About Challenge Cup

Hello.

The Challenge Cup competition is sponsored by the Youth League Central Committee, the Ministry of Education, the China Federation of Students, and the National Association for Science and Technology. It has two competitions, the Challenge Cup Entrepreneurship Plan Competition (commonly known as "Little Pick") and the Challenge Cup Extracurricular Academic Technology Artwork competition (commonly known as "big challenge"). The national competitions of the small competition and the big competition are held alternately. That is, if the big competition is held this year (2011), the small competition will be held next year, and the big competition will be held the year after that.

To participate in the national competition, you must generally go through school competition and provincial competition selection. This year’s big challenge has already reached the national competition and I can no longer participate.

In 2012, the Challenge Cup Business Plan Competition will be held. As for when to prepare, of course the sooner the better.

To participate in such competitions, it is crucial to choose projects and form a team.

About the small selection project: If you don’t have a particularly awesome idea, it’s better not to work in the service industry but in industry. It’s better to look for particularly powerful new patents that have not yet been developed on a large scale by academicians. Patents for industrial applications are the best; because the national competition compares overall strength.

About team formation: Accounting majors are indispensable. Generally, there should be students with some background knowledge in marketing, management, and business, not limited to undergraduates, masters, and Ph.D.s; human character is very important. Persistence is more important. Generally, it may take a year or even longer from the school competition, or the beginning of preparation, to the end (if you go to the national competition), so you have to be able to withstand it.

Personal opinions are for reference only.

Good luck.
