Contemporary Ampere Technology Co., Ltd. recently applied for a patent for the technology of non-negative metal battery, including the material design and key technologies of related technologies, or will be applied to the next generation of sodium ion batteries. The application of this technology will greatly improve the energy density of the battery from the material properties, and the energy density of the next generation sodium ion battery will exceed 200Wh/kg.

In July last year, Contemporary Ampere Technology Co., Ltd. released the first generation of sodium ion batteries. The energy density of the battery cell reaches 65,438+0.60 Wh/kg.
