Understand mechanical patents

General mechanical patents only need to clarify the relationship between shape and structure.

It is not recommended to write functional descriptions such as working process and principle.

When the relationship between shape and structure is difficult to express clearly in words, we can use functional description to help us understand the relationship between shape and structure, but there should be no ambiguous description to make the protected content unclear.

Sometimes the structure is the same, but the function is different, which must be distinguished by functional language.

The new model avoids functional language as much as possible, and the invention can appropriately add functional description.

"With the help of the force generated between the spiral surface of the driver and the edge of the opening, when the driver moves up and down with the upper rod, it will drive the actuator to rotate", which is the functional description. If the previous structural description is clear, there is no need to write this paragraph.
