Tobacco oil, also known as nicotine, is the main component of Nicotiana alkaloids (including single component above 12), which was first isolated from 1928. Nicotine has two nitrogen-containing rings: pyridine ring and pyrrolidine ring, and naturally occurring nicotine is levorotatory.
