Does the published patent application document indicate authorization?

"Openness"-not a legal term in patent, but a popular term, including "publication" and "announcement".

"Publication" refers to the disclosure of China National Intellectual Property Administration's application for a patent for invention after preliminary examination. Its follow-up process also has a substantive review. The application can only be authorized after substantive examination.

"Announcement"-refers to the disclosure of patent documents (including inventions, utility models and designs) by China National Intellectual Property Administration when granting patents.

Therefore, the "published" patent application does not mean that the application has been authorized.
