Recently, we obtained patent drawings of Toyota's new electric SUV from relevant channels. The new car may be named BZ3. The new car is built on the e-TNGA platform jointly developed by Toyota and Subaru. It is positioned as a compact pure electric SUV model and will be officially released at the end of 2021.
As can be seen from the patent drawings, the appearance of the new car is based on the design of the previously exposed concept car, and the appearance uses many sharp straight lines. As a pure electric model, the new car uses a closed front grille and very slender LED headlights, and the decorative parts on both sides are exactly the same as the concept car.

The sloping windshield will help improve aerodynamics, and the tail adopts a more slippery shape, which looks more sporty. Toyota BZ3 will provide good ground clearance, and the body will have black scratch-resistant material, especially the wheel arches, which occupy a particularly large area.

In terms of power, the new car will be available in front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive, and will provide front-wheel drive with a total power of 120 kilowatts, 150 kilowatts and four-wheel drive. There are three power options of 160 kW. The new car will be equipped with a 75kWh lithium battery, with a maximum driving range of approximately 500 kilometers.
After the Toyota BZ3 is launched on the market, its main competitor will be the Volkswagen ID.4, so its price should be similar to the Volkswagen ID.4.
