Dean of Zhongguancun Innovation Training College introduced.

Professor Yuan Chuankuan graduated from the Department of Mathematical Mechanics in Peking University in 1960s, and transferred to the Department of Applied Mathematics in Tsinghua University under the recommendation of Professor Hua, from 65438 to 0978. In the early 1980s, I went to study at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Under the guidance of contemporary great mathematicians Professor Fan Ji and Professor Charles A. Ackerman, he studied topological group theory and modern harmonic analysis, and obtained a doctorate in mathematics from the University of California.

Professor Yuan once taught in Tsinghua University, and 1989 was promoted to full professor. He used to be the director of the analysis teaching and research section and the director of the teaching Committee of the department.

Professor Yuan has been engaged in research and teaching in America for more than 20 years. He has taught at the University of California, Santa Barbara, California State University, Pepperdine University, Santa Clara University and International University of Science and Technology, and served as the vice president in charge of teaching business. At present, he has returned to China as the president of Zhongguancun Innovation Training College, and concurrently serves as a researcher of Tsinghua University Hebei Development Research Institute and director of the Institute of International Education.

Professor Yuan has published many important papers and research reports in international professional journals in the theoretical research of modern harmonic analysis, and has done important basic and pioneering work. His research results are quoted by mathematicians all over the world. The 29th volume of Mathematical Investigation and Mona Diagram, which is specially collected by the American Mathematical Society, has a special evaluation on his pioneering work in Comfort written by British mathematician Allen Patterson. Professor Yuan has attended many international academic conferences as a guest speaker. He also participated in compiling the Mathematical Volume of the Encyclopedia of China, and wrote such a major item as Integral calculus.

Professor Yuan Chuankuan is also committed to the study of cryptography theory and its application in network security. Its research achievements in key transfer and identity authentication have won three American patents. He was invited to be the editorial board of the American professional publication Information Security, the editorial board of the American RSA academic conference, and the consultant of the research committee of the American Celebrity Biography Society.

Professor Yuan won the Tsinghua University Excellent Teacher Award. He was awarded as a postgraduate researcher by the board of directors of the University of California, and won the principal scholarship or postgraduate scholarship for four consecutive years. He was awarded the most beloved gentleman by the Student Union of the American University of International Technology in recognition of his dedication to students. Won the male achievement award of IBC. Because of his outstanding contribution in mathematics and cryptography research, he was awarded the outstanding contribution leader award in mathematics and cryptography research by ABI of the United States Who is listed in who. He was awarded a bronze medal by the American Disabled and Veterans Club for helping and donating the disabled. In 2006, he won the IEEE-CS Outstanding Contribution Award.
