How about textile engineering?

This major is still very good. Here's what I learned from my friends.

Graduates majoring in textile engineering can generally engage in process design, production management and product development in the technical and management departments of textile enterprises, management and professional foreign trade in the management and foreign trade departments, and also engage in scientific research and teaching in scientific research units and textile schools. At the same time, due to the adjustment of majors, more and more graduates are employed by large companies in other industries, many graduates are employed by joint ventures and wholly-owned enterprises, and some graduates are employed by foreign companies and go abroad for employment directly.

Compared with previous years, the employment opportunities of textile graduates have increased. In addition to working in the factory as usual, the examination of civil servants has also become a hot topic. For example, the National Patent Office and the trade quality inspection department are all units where students compete to go to the college entrance examination to review their methods.

Textile industry is a traditional industry, which belongs to labor-intensive industry, and its development prospect is relatively dim. However, the 11th Five-Year Plan of textile high school learning network industry clearly puts forward that the contribution rate of technology and brand should be paid attention to in the development of the industry. That is to say, in the future development of textile industry, we should put our energy and limited capital into science and technology and brand, that is, we should realize the change of growth mode by adjusting the investment structure, industrial structure and resource structure, and these changes need talents with high technology and professional skills.
