First, there is air in the fuel tank.
Because the oil tank is a semi-sealed container, when the inside of the oil tank is filled with oil, the air inside will be discharged upwards. The fuel tank is filled too fast, so the air in the fuel tank can't be discharged smoothly and the engine oil can't enter. Soon, the sensor can sense the oil level, thus causing the phenomenon of "gun jumping".
So where does the air in the fuel tank come from?
First of all, we must know the structure of the car fuel tank. The actual capacity of the automobile fuel tank is greater than the calibrated capacity, so there is air in the extra space. For example, calibrating a 60L fuel tank may have an actual capacity of 70L. This extra space is due to the volatility of gasoline, so it is necessary to leave some space for gasoline vapor to prevent the internal pressure of the fuel tank from being too high (the principle is similar to bottled water).
The second type of misfire is also related to temperature and refueling speed.
When the temperature is high, the oil in the fuel tank will be compressed, the refueling speed will be too fast, the pressure will increase, and the oil in the fuel tank will splash easily, resulting in high frequency of gun jump. It can be seen that it is normal to refuel and jump.
If you still don't believe that there is nothing fishy about escaping when refueling, let's take a look at the experiment done by Xiamen Bureau of Metrology and Supervision at the gas station this year.
The experimental method is to set the oil output of 50 liters on the tanker, and then inject gasoline into the 50-liter national standard metering barrel by frequently pressing the oil gun.
Press the oil gun eight times to refuel.
After refueling, we looked at the reading on the metering barrel again. The final reading was 50.033 liters, and the error was only -0. 16%, which was within the national standard error of 0.3%. It shows that refueling by oil gun will not pay less oil at all, and even give more oil.
As early as 20 13, CCTV's "Is it true" column and the National Institute of Metrology and Testing also conducted an experiment at a gas station in Beijing. Add 50 liters of oil into the quantitative container twice. Switch the oil gun only once for the first time, and switch the oil gun repeatedly for the second time.
Finally, the researcher found that the oil added for the first time was 50.0 10 liter, with an error of 0.020%. The fuel added for the second repeated gun stop is 50.028 liters, with an error of 0.056%. Then the inspectors went to another gas station, and the results were basically similar. The error is less than three thousandths of the national standard.
Many experiments have proved that there is nothing fishy about escaping when refueling. China Petroleum has repeatedly refuted rumors, and authoritative media such as CCTV and Xinhua News Agency have also repeatedly refuted rumors. However, some people with ulterior motives are always alarmist and spreading rumors. I hope the owner will not be credulous. If in doubt, you can complain directly to the relevant departments.
If you want to minimize the fire during refueling, you can open the tank cover first and wait for about 34 seconds before refueling to avoid the air inside being quickly exhausted, which will cause the sensor to receive the wrong signal.
Finally, Bian Xiao wants to say that at present, gas stations are mixed. Like the medical industry, the refueling industry also has Putian Department, which I have the opportunity to share with you.
If you are in a strange place, you need to choose the gas station carefully. Of course, two barrels of oil are preferred, although the price is not friendly. If you often go to China Petrochemical and don't apply for a fuel card, it is recommended to use the China Petrochemical entity fuel card.
