Serving the people wholeheartedly is the fundamental purpose of our party. Only by keeping this fundamental purpose in mind at all times can party member cadres establish a correct world outlook, outlook on life and values, be indifferent to personal gains and losses of fame and fortune, and remain awake and alert before the tests of power, money and beauty, which is an important prerequisite for being honest and clean. Power is a "double-edged sword". With power, you can display your talents, make contributions, or seek personal gain and go to corruption. Therefore, party member cadres should always remind themselves that power is given by the people and we are public servants of the people. We only have the responsibility of governing for the people, and we have no right to abuse power for personal gain. We should take whether the masses support or not, whether they support or not, and whether they are happy or not as an important criterion to measure the correctness of all work, take serving the people wholeheartedly as the fundamental value orientation of the individual, treat the organization correctly, treat the masses, treat ourselves, always worry about the people and do our best to serve the people. We must always adhere to the people-oriented principle, and sincerely do some practical things, good things and difficult things that win the hearts of the people. Don't be trapped by fame and wealth, don't be confused by material desires, do things honestly, and be a good cadre who is assured of the organization and satisfied with the masses.
Second, adhere to the "two musts"
When studying in Xibaipo, General Secretary Hu Jintao called on all Party comrades, especially leading cadres, to adhere to the "two musts" in light of the new situation and work together for building a well-off society in an all-round way. Adhering to the "two musts" is our party's fine tradition and style, our party's political nature, a powerful spiritual force to unite the party's heart and people's hearts and inspire the whole party and the people to work together for national prosperity and national rejuvenation, an important magic weapon for our party to maintain flesh-and-blood ties with the people, and a standard and measure to measure the integrity of party member cadres. Facing the gap and deficiency, we have no reason to be intoxicated with the status quo, complacent and not striving for progress. We must clearly understand the arduousness, complexity and urgency of the task, the difficulties and risks in our work, earnestly enhance our sense of hardship and be prepared for danger in times of peace. To adhere to the "two musts", we must have correct facial features, be impartial, be clear-headed, eat flowers indiscriminately, lose our way, be partial to faith, be honest and clean. If you are complacent, greedy for pleasure, unwilling to do hard work, indifferent to the sufferings of the masses, and deaf to their voices, you will inevitably be divorced from the masses and it will be difficult to resist the erosion of various decadent ideas.
Third, practice the "Theory of Three Represents"
"Theory of Three Represents" is the guiding ideology that our party must adhere to for a long time. Faithful practice of "Theory of Three Represents" is an important guarantee for every cadre in party member to have strong internal quality, good external image, and integrity. Whether a party member cadre maintains the advanced nature of the Party mainly depends on whether he plays a vanguard and exemplary role in developing advanced productive forces, carrying forward advanced culture and representing the fundamental interests of the people. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the education of ideals and beliefs and maintain the advanced nature of Communist party member, further improve the consciousness and firmness of implementing Theory of Three Represents, and firmly establish a correct view of power and Scientific Outlook on Development. Carry forward the spirit of innovation, lock in the development goals, grasp the work orientation, implement first-class measures, strive to achieve great promotion, breakthrough and leap in all work, and accelerate the pace of scientific and technological development.
Fourth, handle the "four relations"
First, handle the relationship between "being a man" and "being an official". Being an "official" is only a temporary place, but being an official is a lifetime. Being an official is the premise and foundation. Without noble personality, it is impossible to be an "official" and do a good job. And doing things is the concrete embodiment of being a man and being an official. You should be an upright person and be an official for nothing.
