Maglev train is a kind of train driven by magnetic levitation force (magnetic attraction and repulsion). Because of the magnetic force of its orbit, it is suspended in the air, so it does not need to touch the ground when walking, so there is only air resistance. The research of magnetic levitation technology originated in Germany. As early as 1922, German engineer Herman Qiangsuo put forward the principle of electromagnetic levitation, and applied for the patent of maglev train in 1934.
After 1970, with the continuous strengthening of the economic strength of industrialized countries in the world, developed countries such as Germany, Japan, the United States, Canada, France and Britain began to plan to develop magnetic levitation transportation systems in order to improve their transportation capacity to meet the needs of their economic development. On June 5438+May, 2009, China's first practical low-speed maglev train with completely independent intellectual property rights was put into trial operation after it was rolled off the production line of CNR Tangshan Rail Bus Co., Ltd., which indicated that China had the industrial manufacturing capacity of low-speed maglev trains.
