Nanchang Teachers College, located in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, is a comprehensive undergraduate college approved by the Jiangxi Provincial People's Government and put on record by the Ministry of Education.
The school was founded in 1952 as a secondary normal school in Jiangxi Province; 1956 was transformed into Nanchang Teachers College; 1958 established Jiangxi Institute of Education on the basis of Nanchang Teachers College; 1969 merged with Jiangxi Teachers College and Jiangxi University to form Jinggangshan University; 1979.
The school covers a total area of 688,500 square meters and has two campuses, Changbei and Qingshan Lake. There are 8 16 faculty members, including 3 1.8% teachers with senior titles and 7 1.8% doctors and masters. 12 departments, 28 general undergraduate majors.
