N, N- dihydroxyethyl dodecyl amide (N, N- dihydroxyethyl dodecyl amide), also known as Ninol, code name FFA, trade name detergent 650 1 or 6502, N-SAA, has many characteristics, no cloud point, can thicken the aqueous solution and has the function of suspending dirt. It is sensitive to electrolyte and has certain antirust effect. This product is widely used as a formula component of cleaning agents for textiles, skin, hair and metals, and can be made into detergents, steel rust inhibitors, fiber degreasing cleaning agents and antistatic agents.
At present, the commonly used thickeners are cellulose ether and its derivatives, associative alkali swelling thickener and polyurethane thickener.
Cellulose ether and its derivatives At present, the thickeners of cellulose ether and its derivatives mainly include hydroxyethyl cellulose, methyl hydroxyethyl cellulose, ethyl hydroxyethyl cellulose and methyl hydroxypropyl cellulose. Hydrophobic modified cellulose introduces a small amount of long-chain hydrophobic alkyl groups into the hydrophilic skeleton of cellulose, thus becoming associative thickeners, such as NatrosolPlusGrade330, 33 1, CellosizeSG- 100, etc. Its thickening effect is comparable to that of cellulose.
