Does domestic free light really burn engine oil?
The main problem lies in the use of W2 engine oil in the free light engine. The W2 engine oil itself is relatively thin, and it is required to establish sufficient oil film strength at high temperature. Only fully synthesized W2 can meet this requirement. Here, fully synthesized refers to the use of four types of base oils. Also, many jeep turbocharged engines now have higher requirements for high-temperature protection of engine oil. The W2 engine oil in 4S shop is not up to standard at all, which leads to excessive evaporation of engine oil at high temperature, decreased protection ability, increased wear and tear, and the phenomenon of engine oil burning is more serious. For JEEP, land rover, Subaru and other special vehicles, it is recommended to use all-synthetic engine oil imported from Germany. Based on the standard of ACEA A3/B4 (HTHS high-temperature high-shear viscosity is required to be greater than 3.5) and the same oil film requirements, all-synthetic oil can achieve high oil film strength with low viscosity. As long as the engine oil is used correctly, there will be no oil burning phenomenon. Hope to adopt it.
