In fact, mask aligner needs to integrate the EUV technology of South Korea (sk Hynix), Germany (Zeiss) and the Netherlands (ASML). Although ASML is a Dutch enterprise, mask aligner's technology is the result of patent integration of these three enterprises.
Semiconductors manufactured within 7 nanometers must be manufactured by EUV mask aligner. At present, only ASML can manufacture EUV mask aligner. However, EUV mask aligner is not the technology of ASML alone. ASML has two patent partners in mask aligner, namely sk Hynix (Korea) and Zeiss (Germany). Only by integrating the technologies of ASML, SK Hynix and Zeiss can we manufacture the most advanced EUV mask aligner in the world.
