Deputy director of the Department of Ophthalmology, specialist member of the Chinese Medical Association. Member of the American Society of Retina Specialists. Editorial board member of "Chinese Medical Guide" and "International Journal of Ophthalmology". In 2001, he received professional training in ophthalmology from the International Federation of Ophthalmological Societies and the International Council of Ophthalmology (IFOS/ICO) at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany. From 2004 to 2005, he did postdoctoral research at the Doheny Eye Institute of the University of Southern California.
He has published more than 30 academic papers and participated in the preparation of many ophthalmology monographs such as "Vitreoretinal Surgery". Relevant research results and surgical experience have won the Beijing Municipal Health Bureau’s Second Prize for Scientific and Technological Achievements twice and one national patent. He has spoken and reported academic papers at many domestic and foreign ophthalmology academic conferences.
