Practice calligraphy, how to write neatly

You cannot reach the level of a calligrapher in a short period of time by practicing calligraphy, so you must first be able to persevere. Secondly, practicing calligraphy is not a chore. If you can see progress or beauty in the calligraphy you practice every day, you will be guaranteed to practice a few strokes every day. Furthermore, not every word is written very beautifully, which means you will definitely be able to write a good article. The key is to leave spaces between words and between lines, and the spaces between lines must be larger than the spaces between words. In short, it means writing in rows and columns. Of course, under normal circumstances, writing only needs to be in rows, and as for columns, as long as the beginning and end can be aligned. If you look carefully at newspapers or books, the prints above will reflect this knowledge. Of course, some people who write beautifully don’t write all the words perfectly, they just write neatly. So at the beginning, try to write neatly and pay attention to leaving spaces, so that you can experience the significant improvement in calligraphy in a short period of time, and this will help motivate you to continue practicing.

As for the practice of individual characters, it is best to buy a three-body calligraphy copybook (pen copybook) from a bookstore. Regular script, running script, and cursive script are enough. There are many such copybooks in bookstores. There are no special requirements for choosing a copybook, as long as you think the words on the copybook look good. In the future, you don’t need to practice from beginning to end. You can randomly turn to any page and practice it. The time to practice calligraphy does not need to be too long, but at the beginning, you must pay attention to the direction and length of the strokes on the copybook. And compare it with the direction and length of the strokes of the character you wrote. This is very important. Moreover, we should summarize the writing rules of the radicals of the fonts in the copybook. The more you summarize in this way, the font will be closer to your favorite word stickers. If you are good at summarizing, and generally practice for ten minutes a day, your handwriting will improve after a month.
