Chen Shengshui’s work and honors

Mainly engaged in scientific research and technical consulting work on earth-rock dam engineering, foundation and basic engineering. As the project leader or main technical backbone, he has completed a number of national science and technology projects, provincial and ministerial key science and technology projects, and many national large-scale water conservancy, hydropower, transportation engineering and scientific research and technical consulting work related to this major. He is currently responsible for the research work of the National Natural Science Foundation project "Long-term Strength and Deformation Characteristics of Expansive Soil" and the National Key Basic Research and Development Program (973 Program) project "Dynamic Mechanism of Earth-rock Dam-Reservoir Coupled System". The research results have won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award in 1996 and 2003 (ranked 6th and 1st), 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 2 third prizes at the provincial and ministerial level for scientific and technological progress, and the National Utility Model He has 3 patents, edited and co-edited 1 academic monograph each, and published more than 40 academic papers at home and abroad.
