Cable tray fixing and fireproof sealing

The fire protection sealing specifications of steel cable trays should comply with the following standards, the content comes from "T/CECS 31-2017 Steel Cable Tray Engineering Technical Regulations" Chapter 4.7 Cable Bridge Fire Protection

4.7 Fire prevention

4.7.1 When the cable tray passes through the firewall and fireproof floor, fireproof blocking measures should be taken.

4.7.2 The installation of fireproof sealing and fireproof layers should comply with the relevant requirements of the current national standard "Code for Fire Protection Design of Buildings" GB50016. According to the shape and conditions of the cable bridge penetration hole, the corresponding fireproof sealing should be adopted. Blocking materials or fireproof blocking components, fireproof blocking materials should not cause damage to the anti-corrosion layer of the cable tray.

The appearance quality of the inorganic fireproof partition should be checked before installation.

B. Set two pairs of special hook bolts on the support arm of the bracket to firmly fix the partition and the cable support (bracket); make the partition vertical or parallel to the bracket, and ensure that the whole is on the same horizontal plane superior. The exposed bolt head should not be too long, and special gaskets should be used, as shown in the figure.

How to use fireproof partitions for cable trays:

C. There should be an overlap of about 50mm at the connection between partitions, which should be fixed with bolts and special gaskets. The installation process gaps and large gaps should be sealed with organic fireproof materials.
