Seven ministries and commissions, including Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, Ministry of Science and Technology and Ministry of Education, jointly issued Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security Document No.2009189, and announced the list of national candidates for the "100 million talents project in the new century" in 2009. Professor Wang Haining of our school was successfully selected.
Wang Haining is currently the executive vice president of the Engineering Research Institute of our university, a young and middle-aged academic leader in Jiangxi Province, a candidate for cross-century talent project, an "honorary employee" of Jinchuan Group Co., Ltd. and a "science and technology correspondent" of Tongling Municipal People's Government. Professor Wang Haining has carried out fruitful research on mine safety theory and technology, and obtained many research results, which have been popularized and applied in many large underground mining mines, effectively solving a large number of technical problems on site, with remarkable economic and social benefits.
