[TRIZ noun] General engineering parameters

Typical technical parameters [1], also called "typical (or general) technical parameters", are "summarized" from some specific technical parameters.

The so-called "generalization" can be understood as the "upper concept" or "functional generalization" mentioned in the patent.

Simply put, it is to sum up several words with the same characteristics or functions with one word. Just as we can refer to mineral water, coke and orange juice with drinks.

Now two versions of general engineering parameters can be found online:

1. There are 39 editions (as shown in figure 1), which were put forward by Mr. Achschuler before 1970;

The total number of the 2.48 edition was first seen in the 2003 edition of Contradiction Matrix. At present, I see more people who have published papers in this field, Mr. Darrell Mann of the European TRIZ Society.
