History of luggage development
The history of suitcase development is bound to be closely related to tourism history, transportation and industrial manufacturing level. Early human migration was mostly wrapped in coarse cloth. Later, with the development of carriages, trains, cars and cruise ships, coarse cloth parcels also experienced the evolution from wood, leather to iron.
However, until the middle and late19th century, the suitcase was still a bulky behemoth, which was very inconvenient to carry. By the end of19th century, the transformation of transportation promoted the great development of tourism, and luggage really began to develop. 1972, BernardSadow from America invented a suitcase with four wheels and a belt, and obtained a patent.
Since then, wheeled suitcases have gradually become popular. 199 1 year, a pilot named BobPlath added two wheels and a retractable handle to the wheeled suitcase, invented the suitcase and applied for a patent. The appearance of telescopic luggage finally laid the basic shape of luggage.
