Elizabeth's image of blood as beauty is deeply rooted in people's hearts, and she also accurately describes the idea that women pursue love and keep their faces at all costs. Thanks to the progress of modern science and technology, we have discovered the hidden secret of platelets in blood, and found that it can not only help wound healing, but also be applied to cell repair. Such a magical "medical" use, the editor is not counting on it. This time, we invited Lai Su, a professional dermatologist, to answer.

Clarify the secret of hiding blood. Modern medicine thinks so.

Human blood is divided into two parts: plasma and blood cells. Plasma accounts for about 55% of the total blood volume and blood cells account for about 45%. Secondly, blood cells can be divided into red cells, white cells and platelets. Su, president of Chengzhi Dermatology Clinic, said that platelets have been found for 100 years. It was considered by scientists as hemostasis in the early stage, and it was metabolized by the spleen every 7 ~ 14 days on average. In the past 30 years, it has been found that platelets are rich in various growth factors. When a wound or tissue is damaged, platelets will release growth factors to start a series of information transmission, so that cells can divide and repair the tissue.

Clever scientists began to study whether platelets have other medical uses, and the results showed that platelets can repair other damaged parts such as skin and blood vessels. At present, the easiest way to obtain platelets is to put blood into a centrifuge tube for centrifugation. After centrifugation, the blood is divided into three layers, and the heavy liquid is called PRP (platelet-rich -PLA * * * A).

The limitation of application urges scientists to develop PLT frozen crystal technology.

At present, PRP has been used for 30 years and can be used for chronic tendinitis, muscle strain, ligament injury, degenerative arthritis, or cruciate ligament repair after surgery. Later, this technology was applied to burn patients to further accelerate wound healing. Su said that although the raw materials are taken from human blood, there will be no immune rejection or allergic problems, but once separated, they must be used immediately and cannot be preserved. Therefore, it is necessary to continuously inject needles and draw blood from patients in the process of several months to several years. It is worth noting that during the application of PRP, the platelet concentration can not be measured in time, and the patients feedback polarization after application. Some patients' feedback is valid, and some feedback is invalid, which leads to the inaccurate confirmation of medical use.

In recent years, German and Japanese scientists published a study on the concentration and preservation of platelets by freeze-drying. Freeze-drying technology was first applied to food preservation, which sublimated the water in food through vacuum and low temperature (non-heated evaporation), so that freeze-dried food could be preserved for a long time without adding preservatives. This technology is used in astronaut food processing. Su said that scientists apply freeze-drying technology to PLT, and patients only need to extract about 250 cc of blood from the blood donation bag at one time, and then separate and crystallize the blood through technology. This technology is called PLT- frozen crystal treatment, which can preserve and quantify the quantity of PLT per bottle for a long time and make the treatment effect more constant.

PLT contains a variety of growth factors, and the medical effect is better after being beaten by doctors.

Preparation method of general PRP technology for PLT frozen crystal technology Patent separation frozen crystal technology The centrifugal separation process on site takes about 2 weeks and 20 minutes to produce about 10 bottles of PLT frozen crystal 3~5 c.c. PRP, which can be used for one injection and blood drawing for multiple courses each time. A single course of treatment can be stored at room temperature for 3 years, and the content of 65.438+0 billion platelets per bottle cannot be determined on site. For patients who need multiple or long-term treatment, PLT contains a variety of growth factors, among which PDGF (platelet-derived growth factor), VEGF (epidermal growth factor), FGF (fibroblast growth factor), KGF (keratinocyte growth factor) and KGF are the main ones. At present, the research on the function of growth factor is not thorough, and its name is only found in a certain cell. For example, although EGF is the abbreviation of epidermal growth factor, the latest research found that EGF can accelerate hair growth from static stage to growth stage for patients with alopecia areata (male and round alopecia), while KGF is the abbreviation of keratinocyte growth factor, but the research also found that KGF has the function of protecting hair follicle cells. In addition, TGF-β, the latest research found that it can regulate T cells (immune cells) and reduce the allergic index of IgE (immunoglobulin E), thus reducing the allergic reaction of human body. For patients with allergic rosacea muscle or liver spots, some studies also believe that it will be improved by the increase of TGF-β.

Su further explained that, generally speaking, growth factors such as VEGF, VEGF will start a series of fibroblasts to proliferate and induce fibroblasts to produce and secrete collagen and elastin. However, with the growth of our age or sun exposure and other factors, the number of fibroblasts and active substances gradually decrease, making the skin texture rough, producing fine lines and looking old. These growth factors can restart the activity of fibroblasts and help improve the skin condition. How to apply PLT frozen crystal technology to human body? The best way is to apply it to the affected area by a professional doctor. If it is only used as skin care products for external use, although it will have a certain degree of effect, in fact, growth factors are not easily absorbed into the dermis through the skin.

Therefore, external use can theoretically increase the absorption after minimally invasive wound, such as shuttle laser, skin cleaning laser or picosecond laser. Su pointed out that applying PLT immediately after laser surgery can not only stop bleeding, but also shorten the recovery period of skin after surgery. The main reason is that PLT infiltrated into dermis can release a lot of growth factors. In addition, PLT is combined with acoustic/electric wave therapy or hyaluronic acid injection. Su reminded that PLT frozen crystal technology can solve the problems that traditional PRP can not be preserved and its concentration is unstable, but it takes a long time and costs a lot, which is more suitable for patients who need it many times and have good clinical economy.
